SENEGAL <ul><li>Flag: </li></ul><ul><li>Location : Senegal is located on the west of the African continent </li></ul><ul><li>Capital city: Dakar </li></ul><ul><li>Languaje: French (oficial) Wolof, Pulaar,Jola,Mandika </li></ul><ul><li>Religions: Islam 94%, Christian 5% and indigenous 1% </li></ul><ul><li>Industries: agricultural and fish processing,phosphate mining, fertilez production petroleum… </li></ul>
  • 4. <ul><li>Hello ! </li></ul><ul><li>We are Naiara, Leire, Aaron and Mamadou. </li></ul><ul><li>We stayed three days in the capital of Senegal. </li></ul><ul><li>We stayed in a hotel. The hotel was very nice they have swimming pools, a big garden... </li></ul><ul><li>We went to the Beach and we saw different places </li></ul><ul><li>We tried Senegal’s food. The food of Senegal is different from that of Spain but we like it! </li></ul><ul><li>We had for example: </li></ul><ul><li>-Mafé: Meat cooked in oil of peanut accompanied by rice. </li></ul><ul><li>-Tiébou yap : rice and meat with vegetable with a sauce of oil or mustard. </li></ul><ul><li>One day we went to see the schools of Dakar. The Schools in Senegal (Dakar) are different from those in Spain they are much smaller. In Dakar there are 2 schools and there are many people. The children have to walk 3 kilometres a day from their houses to the schools </li></ul><ul><li>One evening we went to the zoo and saw these animals: elephants, lions, buffalos, panthers, monkeys, crocodiles... </li></ul>OUR VIRTUAL DAYS IN SENEGAL
