There are 3 centralities in this area with most informal activities and one big shopping mall at the end point of the railway line. Khayelitsha has so many problems need to be solved. Spatially marginalized, it is isolated from the rest of the city and from each other due to the distance from opportunities. Khayelitsha also has the problem of overcrowded living condition, because it has enormous number of people as it is almost half of Cape Town population. It is also as a result of influx of people from other places. The result is mushrooming of informal dwellings KhayeLiTsha impression spaTiaLLy marginaLized with poor basic amenities.
