  • 1. Reading Photographs Sierra Koehler
  • 2. An old abandoned theatre In this photo it shows just an old theatre that is no longer used.I do not know where or when this photo was taken but I wouldassume that it was taken in the 2000’s. I chose this photo because, Ilike how the lighting is in the photo as well as the overall feel I getfrom the photo. When I look at it, it makes me wonder what thetheatres past was. The elegance of the theatre adds mystery to it. Ibelieve that the photographer chose this photo because of howforgotten and alone it looks. They probably took it at that moment tocapture the light coming down from the ceiling. A long time ago thisplace was probably a thriving building. The angle was more thanlikely taken to show depth in the seats and at the angle the photo itshow the lighting beautifully. At any other angle it would not haveshown the lighting the same way.
  • 3. Purple Flower In this photo there is a verybeautiful purple flower. It caught myattention very easily because I love floral photography! I like how it’s a close up shot of a pedal that is farther down than all the others. I do not know where or when this photograph was taken.
  • 4. Focus of the photoIn this photo it appears that the focus of itis mainly on the two front pedals of theflower. The background is not in focusvery well and I believe that it is mainly toadd emphasis to the flower. And all of itsvibrant colors.
  • 5. I like the quality of this photo. Whoever took this must have been a very daring person. I believe that the person who took this photo took it because it was a symbol to them of what nature can be like. And how beautiful even the worst disasters can be. To me this photo is beyond outstanding! I think that theperson who photographed that looked at it and said to their selves, “wow that is somethingthat the everyone should be able to see, even if its just though a photograph
