Atonement (2007)<br />Atonement is a high budget, main stream film.<br />Because of this they were able to afford many more opportunities' than an independently made film.<br />They had greater resources for advertising. <br />They were able to use actor’s that were famous for other films.<br />

Important People - Atonement (2007)<br />Joe Wright was the director of the film who has achieved many other recognised films such as Pride&Prejudice and The Soloist.<br />Ian McEwan and Christopher Hampton wrote the screen play for the film, with Ian being the author of the original novel. <br />

Budget - Atonement (2007)<br />The overall budget for Atonement was estimated at £19169941.66!<br />On Atonements opening weekend in the USA they made £509186.41 showing the film in 32 different screens (weekend beginning 9th September) <br />There overall gross interest was said to be around £32538990.58!!!!<br />
