  • 2. Servers In order for a user to obtain access to the LMS, the school must have several servers to store the information that they need. A server stores information and links all of the devices (Latitude Learning, 2013).
  • 3. Internet Browser An internet browser is allows the user to obtain access to the LMS (Latitude Learning, 2013). (Internet Explore, n.d.)
  • 4. Support Software A support software that is used by many colleges, eCollege promotes access, achievement, and affordability (Pearson, n.d.a). (Pearson, n.d.b)
  • 5. Operating System An operating system is needed in order for the LMS to operate on a computer (Latitude Learning, 2013). (Microsoft, n.d.b)
  • 6. Computer Network & Portable Electronic Devices An LMS must operate on a computer, so the school must have a computer network for users. Users may also find it convenient to have portable electronic devices with the capabilities of a computer, too (Latitude Learning, 2013). (LG Electronics, n.d.)
  • 7. Installation Disc Space In order for the LMS to run, sufficient installation disc space is required on every user’s computer hard drive (Latitude Learning, 2013). (Microsoft, n.d.a)
