Importance of having good communication Communication does not mean simply talking with others but it includes how a person responds, gestures, and accent. Good communication skill is essential not only in personal life but in work place also.
Promotion in a career is made possible only through good communication skill. Outside of the workplace, good communication is very much required and the more efficient one is would make certain having good associations which guides to enjoying the entire life. Excellent communication makes relationship among people and avoids disputes or misinterpretations. To build up good communication, certain things must be kept in mind and focused on. The essential thing is to determine what a person needs to speak with a focus on aspects and what to comprise or not to comprise. Another thing is not to accept a one-for-all approach to speak for each person for the reason that certain persons will respond in various ways and must be more attentive on the circumstances and person. Another important thing in effective communication is listening to the other people’s reaction or their body gestures or facial expressions and responds accordingly if possible and the circumstances allows. Besides listening to other people, notice one's gesture, facial expression and accent is also significant. Another essential thing in developing good communication skills is to learn from earlier communication mistakes, which can be anything from a dispute or getting the mistaken order at a restaurant or not being able to stop a child from a bad habit. This serves as a feedback and assists in developing the communication abilities. One more way of receiving comment is to inquire someone, may it be co workers, relatives, friends, family members, and so on. But one must be patient in receiving other person’s comment. There are particular aspects which guides to poor communication and must be discarded. Uncertain message - in whatever situation communication happens, it must be made certain that the message is expressed plainly without any doubt and if possible the sender should recheck what the listener understood, Message Overload - refers to pushing in too much information in a communication and should be avoided because it will only direct to uncertainty and unsuccessful message delivery, Time of delivery implies that speaking at a time while the spectator’s concentration is distracted will be ineffective ,tempo of conversation refers to the speed at which point the message is being expressed or conversed, disruption -communication procedure will not work if there is any intermission. The stated features of a communication method must be taken into account while speaking as they would result the creating the entire procedure unproductive and consumption of time for both sides. Excellent communication skill is necessary for the victory of any person and developing it will only guide to success in personal life and in career as well. It must be recognized as a skill that can be educated and used for one's benefit.
