BELL SCHEDULE - WE LIKE….. <ul><li>See all students every day (5 classes per day) </li></ul><ul><li>Yearlong schedule vs. semester </li></ul><ul><li>30 minutes is adequate for student lunches </li></ul><ul><li>Length of each class (vs. Block Scheduling) </li></ul><ul><li>Proven system, i.e. “it” works </li></ul><ul><li>Music classes should be seen every day </li></ul><ul><li>One prep and one duty </li></ul>

BELL SCHEDULE – WE DISLIKE….. <ul><li>4 TH Period - One hour long/unequal periods </li></ul><ul><li>Athletes always miss 7th Period </li></ul><ul><li>No double lab periods </li></ul><ul><li>AP Stat/Science - miss other classes (15-20 each grade) due to lab periods </li></ul><ul><li>Activities disrupt the schedule </li></ul><ul><li>U. D. bell schedule vs. Eastern bell schedule </li></ul><ul><li>Inadequate passing time </li></ul>

BELL SCHEDULE – WE DISLIKE….. <ul><li>No time for collaboration, planning time and remediation </li></ul><ul><li>Homeroom Period - TV Studio needed for morning announcements </li></ul><ul><li>Announcements during Homeroom and 6th Period </li></ul><ul><li>No designated time for assemblies </li></ul><ul><li>Schedule Homeroom Period later in the day </li></ul><ul><li>Lunch period </li></ul><ul><li>Option Period </li></ul>

W. - Special Schedule - Every other Wednesday </li></ul><ul><li>Time/periods for remediation or periods </li></ul>
