It is named after the Southern African philosophy ofubuntu.Ubuntu is designed primarily for use on personal computers, althougha server edition also exists.

  10. 10. ForemanForeman is a manager for Procfile-based applications. Itsaim is to abstract away the details of the Procfile format,and allow you to either run your application directly orexport it to some other process management format.
  11. 11. UpstartUpstart is an event-based replacement for the /sbin/initdaemon which handles starting of tasks and servicesduring boot, stopping them during shutdown andsupervising them while the system is running.
