  • 2.  Nowadays, people are willing to invest time and money to improve their health. The hectic life pace that most of us live increases our risk of getting all type of health issues and stress that might lead to serious, expensive and life- threatening diseases that rapidly spread in the body. If you are currently practicing unhealthy habits and vices, think now of the future. It is never too late to start cutting back on bad habits and paying attention to your diet. Many people choose to go for organic and fresh foods and that is the right approach to start a healthy living. As the saying goes life is too short; so don’t do things that will shorten it more.

It will absolutely make you look younger and attractive because of its anti-aging ability.
  • 4.  It is advisable that we take only the adequate amount of juice needed in a day. You can drink up to 6 servings of 8 ounce glasses a day. Don’t forget to drink water though. The main goal is to have vegetables included in the Juicing Recipes. Veggies have less sugar than fruit and hence less calories. Having that much of fluids in your diet will make you go to the washroom more often and hence flush out the toxins from your system. Whether you are doing your juice fasting for the purpose of detoxifying or to lose belly fat having veggies in the mixture would provide you with a nourishing drink that is filled with enzymes, minerals and vitamins. Use only fresh and natural juice ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables because they are healthier and are not contaminated with the chemicals and pesticides that non- organic produce would be exposed to.
  • 5.  Preparing your juice at home is an important part of the juice fasting success as you want to have fresh juice with the flavor you love. It is important though that you know how to handle fruit and vegetables preparation to ensure the optimum nutrition benefits and a taste that you would enjoy having and substituting your daily meals with.
  • 6.  Some people choose to use a blender to mix the fruit and vegetables, and some would use a juicer. The difference between the two is that using a blender, would reserve the fibers in the fruit and veggies and this would produce a smoothie diet. On the other hand, using a juicer would produce a less frothy, tasty and thick liquid. Juices are easier on the stomach and advised for people who have peptic ulcer problems. If you are going to have a juice fasting plan, then you will need a juicer. There are many juicers in the market that are very popular for their performance and quality of juice they produce. I personally like and recommend a Jack Lalanne Juicer.
  • 7.  Unlike other extreme fasting and weight loss plans, juice fasting is easy for a person to carry on their daily tasks without losing energy or feeling weak. The juices would provide you with the energy that you need and help you go through the day. Some people might experience a slight headache on the first day of their juice fasting but that feeling would generally go away quickly. You can take your fresh juice with you to work in a cool container as most juices would be able to stay fresh and nutritious for at least 4 hours. For People who have a serious health issue, it is advisable to consult with the doctor before going on juice fasting. It is also a good idea to go on juice fasting only for a few days before you assess your experience and the health benefits obtained.
