      • Mac OS is the trademarked name for a series of graphical user interface -based operating systems developed by Apple Inc. in 1984.
    6. Advantages
      • Apple computers are much more secure than Windows PCs. Viruses, designed for a Windows-based processor simply will not run on a Mac.
      • The people who make Mac software are the same people who make the Mac hardware so it reliable.
      • You can always get bootcamp which will allow you to install a copy of XP on a partition on your Mac
      • It is not popular like windows so it is not more target

      • There are very few games available for the Mac. If you are a gamer, a Mac is probably not the best choice
      • Mac OS is Too Expensive
    8. Solaris OS
      • Solaris is a UNIX -based operating system introduced by Sun Microsystems in 1992. Solaris uses a common code base for the platforms it supports: SPARC and i86pc (which includes both x86 and x86-64 ) platforms.
    9. Advantages
      • Reboot is not required for Solaris so it can run 24/7.
      • It support zfs file system.
      • It can handle many users at a time.
      • In Solaris we have many good backup tools.
      • Fully virus protected.
    10. Disadvantages
      • This OS is not user friendly.
      • It is not recommended to run Solaris on other architectures.
      • Lack of good GUI.
      • Not a OS for home users.
    11. Conclusion
      • it all depends what kind of need you have. If you are a home user u can go with windows. If performance is what you want and u have to handle huge volume of data then Solaris would be a good option. But if u want best graphics user interface then u will go with Mac OS.
