  • 2. • The 16TH LOK SABHA ELECTIONS will be held in nine phases, the longest election in the country's history, from 7 April to 12 May 2014. • Voting will take place in all 543 parliamentary constituencies of India to elect Members of Parliament in the Lok Sabha. • The result of this election will be declared on 16 May 2014.

  • 10. Election Commission expected to spent $5 billion in the election which is the world's second highest after the $7 billion spent on the 2012 U.S. elections.
  • 11. This time, about 814 million people will be eligible to vote, a number larger than the population of Europe, making this the biggest election the world has ever seen.
  • 12. • Founded on November, 2012. • The AAM ADMI PARTY led by MR. ARVIND KEJRIWAL is contesting the elections for about 278 seats.
