  2. 2.  They were twins .  They were washed away by there wicked uncle but a she wolf found them and rescued them.  A sheperd took them away from the she wolf and raised them.  Romulus and Remus killed their wicked uncle and built a city together  Romulus and Remus fought to death to decide what to call the city.  Romulus won the fight. The name of the city was named Rome.
  3. 3.  The Roman Empire started in Italy.  The Romans spread all around Europe and were not defeated.  Julius Caesar invaded Britain first.
  4. 4.  The Romans did not wash there self the slaves did it for them.  The Romans did not use soap they used oil  The Romans went to the baths for a chat  Men and woman had baths at different times
  5. 5.  The coliseum is over 2000 years old.  It can hold over 80,000 people.  The gladiators fought to the death.  Sometimes the gladiators fought lions and tigers
  6. 6.  A roman soldier is mostly     . protected from his shield and armor. The Romans soldiers marched for 20 miles a day. They wore helmets. They wore armour. They had swords
  7. 7.  They did the turtle formation in battle.  They did not get hurt when they done the turtle formation.  Nothing will hurt them.
  8. 8.  The Roman gladiators fought lions and tigers.  They fought at the coliseum.
  9. 9.  The poor Romans ate porridge and bread and soup.  And the rich Romans had door mice and meat.
