Shirley Zhao is currently the Data Science Librarian at the University of Utah Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, where she teaches information and data literacy and science communication skills and raises awareness about current trends in scholarly communication and publishing. Her interests include bibliometrics, alternative publishing models, digital scholarship, science communication, data science, and data visualization.
