  • 2. 2006 - 2010 Michigan Soybean Yield Contest Information about management practices was collected and summarized from 166 entries The summarized information has not been subjected to statistical scrutiny General trends and observations are still valuable and worth considering
  • 3. Evaluating the 2006-2010 Data Entered data from planting and harvest forms into an Excel spreadsheet Sorted the data by yield and averaged the responses of the top 5 non-irrigated entries and the bottom 5 non-irrigated entries from each year Compared the management practices of the top 25 non-irrigated entries (5 entries per year X 5 years) to the bottom 25 non-irrigated entries
