The author has chosen to work with the mainstream distributor IPC to promote their pop music magazine. IPC distributes many of the best-selling magazines and the author feels their magazine will be similarly successful. While IPC has never distributed a children's magazine before, the author's magazine aims for a young audience and could expand IPC's reach to new demographics.

The genre of music I am promoting is pop music, I
have decided to go with an mainstream distributer
called ‘IPC’. I have chosen this company as during my
research I found that all of the best magazines had
been distributed by the IPC distributing company and
I feel that my magazine will be within that league.
The fact that my magazine is aimed at a young
audience this would be a USB for the IPC company as
they have never distributed a child’s magazine before.
