- About Husband, Dad, SEO consultant, and affiliate marketer - not necessarily in that order. I grew up in SoCal, then moved to the Pacific Northwest after high school, and never moved back. Career highlights include owning a skateboard shop, getting paid to snowboard, and crab fishing in the Bering Sea in the 80’s. I spent a decade in retail management in the 90’s, opening a computer & software store, then learning to rank web pages in Alta Vista before Google even came along. I’ve been married since 1994, live in Portland Oregon, and have two great boys, Mikkel and Matthew.
