The Synergyze Umbrella It makes it much easier to have a quality portfolio of companies all together under one unbrella. All companies can be accessed through the Synergyze landing page. This means that people who arrive at Synergyze through any other Synergyze company marketing are also briefly exposed to all other companies too, and may go on to browse several sites while they are there. Synergyze is what will make all the sites hang together well and weave a thread through them all. All the sites are all cross linked too, so people could hit Market-mt.biz from any of the other sites of marketing. Synergyze itself packs a powerful marketing punch, as it hosts the network, blog and jobs board. Blogs and jobs boards deliver some of the highest page ranks available. They drive thousands of visitors to your site and then they return again in a few months time. They are simply invaluable tools for us.
Staggering Marketing Facts. There are millions of unanswered searches each months for several important telecoms related keywords. No-one is marketing to these keywords. That’s right – no-one!! What happens to all these unanswered searches? There are literally thousands of telecoms blogs, networks, discussions, forums and news wires. Buzz marketing won IBM the war when they first started out and with less budget. Viral marketing can cost nothing but reach a target audience of millions. By focusing on our niche we can achieve guru status and deep background awareness of our company. We can become a big fish in a small pond, instead of a small fish in a big pond.
Cross Sells Synergyze
Search Telecom, Executive IT & Career Telecom As everybody knows your average recruiter has a rolodex bigger than Greenland before global warming and a sphere of influence the size of Gibraltar. Recruiters are hard faced when asking for things like introductions, resumes and salary details and we collect contacts like squirrels collect nuts. Not Choosy either Most of us opt to hold LION status or “open networker” this means we must accept every contact and introduction or get unceremoniously booted off linked in. For this reason we have enormous networks, files full of contacts and people on the other side of the planet we can literally pick the phone up to as if we’re old chums. Money motivated Recruiters are like any good seller, where there is commission and incentives involved there’s always a good passage of leads. We strive to make our recruiter cross sells packages easy to understand and quick to pay, so they are well motivated to pass leads.
Benefits of the Recruiter Network. Benefits Recruiters can directly market you to Clients and receive a cash reward for doing so. (this is part of their job) They are trained to book meetings, interviews and handle your introductions at the highest levels. Reputations They all work hard on grooming and perfecting their online reputation and recommendations. We strongly adhere to recruiter best practice and only operate ethically and honourably at all times. We value our reputation. Going Global We have recently gone global with hires across Europe, USA and interest out in Asia too. This means a good global channel of leads and referrals.
Biz 2 Go From Concept to Reality Translating a business idea into a reality is a mine field and takes lots of time and money. Each year there are thousands of new technologies and concepts launched in the world of telecoms, all of these need advice, support and practical things like websites, logos, etc. Biz 2 Go is all about harnessing the Clients right from the word go. If we give them a great service package right from the beginning it fosters a loyal relationship in which the Client comes back for more from the rest of the group. VC Match Due to our VC intro service we could even be instrumental in getting their VC backing. Biz 2 Go is a very unique idea (only 2 others doing it and not very well at all) and quite challenging to undertake. Biz2 Go will deliver a stream of the right sorts of Clients toSynergyze.
Now 2 Biz & Catalyse Now 2 Biz provides outsourced services to Telecoms & It businesses globally and can be a good source of cross sells and interest. Catalyse Catalyse team is made up of the most senior people within the Synergyze Telecoms Group. This brings us credibility, and depth of experience. These people are sellers, they are paid commission and incentivised to pass leads by means of revenue sharing. They are experienced at brining in leads and contracts and dealing with Clients at very high levels. Catalyse team members will use cross sells to sweeten a deal for a Client to sign up. Sales and marketing go hand in hand.
Types of Marketing
The Jargon
IE viral bookmark buttons.
Join our network buttons.
And free e-books viral to give away to friends.
All sites offered in HTML to cater for slower connections and ensure instant indexing.
All sites optimised for our SEO keywords with search engine hungry site maps and dynamic content to keep us high in search rank.
All sites submitted to over 40 different search engines.
Blog submitted to hundreds of blog wires daily.
RSS feeds for our audience to follow.
Lots of sticky content to attract visitors to all sites.
No spam, black hat or random mailing list campaigns.
This is lots of high level exposure and generates lot of traffic and links. This get us up in the highest page rank within our niche. All our marketing will contain a hook to deliver leads, it’s not just about getting the highest PR (page rank) but also about giving qualified, targeted leads.
What’s Sticky content Sticky content is something that grabs the interest of the reader, draws them to your site, keeps them reading and keeps them on your site for longer. Examples of this can be:
Social networks
Well written articles
Blog posts that come up in a search
Free e-book
Humorous content
Niche content
Videos/audio
Cutting edge technology
Amusing games
Free stuff – e-cards, etc.
We will be using most of these techniques to our advantage.
No Carpet Bombing inboxes. What can be more annoying that one of those “constant contact” e-mails? There is simply no quicker way to wear out your inbox welcome and turn off your Client. At times its impossible to unsubscribe and you are mercilessly bombarded with an endless stream of trash. In this day and age many marketers place an emphasis on “building a list” and then using a piece of software which automates all your e-mails, which is the lazy thing to do. If we are directly mailing people, we believe this should be a personal contact, directly written to that person. We believe our contacts are real living breathing people, with families, problems and busy lives, just like you and me. We believe that by reaching out to them with a personal contact, we can achieve much better buy in. We believe it is possible to achieve a good coverage by using networks, posting in forums, discussions and other blogs. We believe in writing quality content which is hand written by each expert and efficiently and respectfully sharing that information.
Blog & Network It’s all about harnessing the community. An entertaining blog can attract a massive following in its own right and is very search engine hungry with fresh content each day. Niche blogging too attracts many visitors, we plan to have sections on our blog for various sectors, (CXO/technical/Sales/Entrepreneurs etc) In the age of web 2.0 people like to feel like part of an online network and belong to a site and a group. We are planning on harnessing this to our advantage to give us great exposure. Clients have the option of subscribing to our RSS for daily updates without being bombarded in their inbox. We can also give people the option to sign up for a monthly newsletter (on the topic of their choice) to keep up to date with things. ETA to BLOG & NETOWORK LAUNCH– August 31st 2009
Reaching the Techies. Techies are not just a fickle bunch, they can be challenging to reach. I have had replies to posts before saying “if its not about network cabling, I just don’t want to know” this can be hard to overcome. The best bet is to catch them on their own turf. They hang around on their own forums and technical discussion boards. We try to join all the technical forums across all the niches to achieve good saturation. Tech Career Genie Their own designated career advice mini site. We also plan a special techie forum on our blog. Common Denominators. Aside from just the technical stuff, there are things that all techies need, like a jobs board, careers advice and recruitment services.
Harnessing the Entrepreneurial Spirit There are very few good resources for budding new entrepreneurs, especially in telecoms. It is our aim in the fullness of time to provide a micro site spin off to Biz2Go called Bizcreche.com which will give free resources to entrepreneurs as follows:
Free outline business plan
Articles on all aspects of launching a business
A dedicated forum
Step by step help
A new business launch academy
Free webinars and audio on demand
and lots more.
We hope to get a following of our ideal target prospects and saturate the telecoms startup space. ETA to Bizcreche.com launch 31st Dec 2009
Targeted Marketing Categories Concept, small medium Telecoms companies. Mostly a B2B sell but also selling directly to individuals too: Technical inventors, innovators, design engineers, the sorts of people who originally come up with the wacky ideas for new telecoms products and services. VCs, Investors, high worth individuals who may be looking to back companies like our Clients. Entrepreneurs and New Business Managers. CEO/CXO board level contacts who may already be running small to medium companies. Global/US/Asia Pac Sales Directors who may be looking to expand into EMEA. Our existing HR contacts will also benefit us.
Marketing to our Targets By holding profiles and guru status within our target prospect categories we can market within them and build up a deep online presence and brand recognition. Our typical Client audience are not just internet savvy, they use and trial and know inside out the very latest technologies and are very likely to use the internet as their primary choice of contact method. To reach out to them we can post quality articles, in forums, discussions, groups, blogs, networks, thereby harnessing all the latest methods of marketing and the biggest target audience. Company Profiles Branding Opportunities - Creating employer profiles on social networks can raise your brand image and help you to manage your reputation online Generation Next - Younger users hold greater potential for the future online market, with 20% logging on for business purposes
Article marketing Article marketing means writing expert articles about your subject and then sharing them on article directories, blogs, networks etc. The articles must always be well written, informative and answer a question in the mind of the reader. They must never be “salesy” or jabber on about your own product. They always include a link back to your own site and some details about you, the author. Article directories are very search engine hungry, meaning that they are all indexed by search engine bots and will then come up in searches. In order to qualify each article must be unique and hand written, not copied, plagiarised or tailored. These articles are then disseminated across the internet in online and offline publications globally. Articles are versatile, create masses of hits and back links to our site and can be used in all sorts of ways. (posting, blogs, forums, news, etc)
Buzz Marketing Buzz marketing basically means it is everyone’s responsibility to take a share of the marketing. It is also called employee evangelism and means everyone speak highly of the company and naturally tells friends family and contacts how great we are. Everyone’s profile must be up to scratch. Everyone is expected to contribute articles for use within the marketing strategy. Everyone has a different, unique writing style, so it is impossible for some-one who is not an expert to write a decent article about a subject. It is much better to have that expert contribute an article each month to keep the marketing up to date, relevant and top quality. Everyone in the Synergyze Group (even managers) is expected to contribute articles and up to date feedback from the battlefield. We have already implemented this system and it works well. Guru status - It is also great to establish an online guru status about your chosen subject, we have a number of ways of doing this and encourage people to use them all. The best way is to write articles and market them.
Marketing Alliances This is all about teaming up with some of the big names and swapping links and content. Some examples of this would be: www.totaltele.com http://www.thetelecom.co.uk/ http://www.telconews.com/ And several others It allows us to be advertised on their site and have an exchange of Clients. We can take advantage of their very high visitor numbers and following. It also give us the credibility of the backing of a large, well respected company. These types of relationships can take a long time to broker and set in place, but will last many years.
Press Releases Right from the start we have got into the habit of doing press releases. This is so prospective Clients can see where we are up to and all our news. This is also a great chance for free publicity as well as web coverage. We have been working on some big stories, even working some contacts within the BBC. PR & Advertising We also have big plans for a number of publicity stunts at telecoms shows. We hope to be able to do some targeted advertising in telecoms publications. In order for our advertising strategy to work we need to have some stronger revenues behind the Group as a whole.
Meet the Team People buy from people. In the digital age, it’s easy to lose site of this. That means that every possible thing we can do to bring each and every contact with some-one to life and highlight the personal touch is essential. In line with this we plan a Meet the Team button on all our sites, this will link to a main flash driven profile gallery where they can read all about that person and the team they work in. This applies to all the companies within the Synergyze group. We ask everyone to use the latest technology wherever possible to bring every one of our communications to life and make us closer. Examples of this would be team collaboration software, Webex video conferencing software etc.
Outsourced Marketing We outsource the admin tasks of marketing. For example site submissions, posting etc. These things take an enormous amount of time, it’s not skilled work and the outsourced team are totally equipped to do exactly this for us. This saves time and money and is a much more efficient use of our resource. But it is still extremely important that the content fed to the outsourced marketing team is top quality and that they are managed properly. They will only ever do exactly what they are told to do, so giving perfect instructions and ensuring they are understood is imperative. There are certain things that should not be completely outsourced, writing articles is one of them. You can spot it a mile off when you get a nonsense, gibberish, key word laden pile of doo-doo that has been written by some-one whose first language is clearly not English. It smacks of poor quality and will be avoided at any cost. Responding to Leads We feel strongly that leads should be responded to by the experts. This means that each prospective Client gets the best answer and service to their enquiry.
