2. CINEMUERTE FILM FESTIVAL
Although this is not a production
company logo, I liked the idea of
this logo, the skull shows it is of
horror genre and the eyes are
shown to look like the projectors in
a cinema screen with the company
name in the middle.
This logo is simple but effective,
because it isn't too complicated but
still lets people know what the
company or film festival in this case
is called and what genre it is.
3. BLUE MOON PRODUCTIONS
This is the Blue Moon Productions
logo. Personally I think this logo is
boring. It is all one colour, which is a
light blue colour which looks very
tedious. The logo is very simple, it
is a ‘blue moon’ with what looks like
fog in front of it. This is not the most
creative of logos and I did not take
any inspiration from this.
4. BLUMHOUSE PRODUCTIONS
Blumhouse productions was definitely one of the better production logos I came over.
The logo shows a dark corner of a room with only a single light on the ceiling. The
logo is then shown across the walls. I liked this idea because dark corners, such as
the one shown in this room are usually associated with horror films, and obviously
they are a horror production company.
5. PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGOS - OVERVIEW
• Overall I have established that horror production company logos are fairly simple. They
usually contain just one image and the company name either over or around it. I
particularly liked the idea of the images showing something of horror like the Blumhouse
production one.
• I have gained a few ideas for our company logo from the research I have carried out on
other horror companies and their logos.
