2014 Never Quit Challenge – Clear The Way
A Personal Water Craft ride. Select Veteran charities will benefit from fundraisers at 2 locations, one in Morro Bay at the Veteran's Hall of Sept 7th 6:00pm and the second at the Stone Bistro Gardens at Liberty Station at 6:00pm on the Anniversary of 9/11. The Never Quit Challenge is an Invitational Personal Water Craft ride vetted by Special Operations Military Veteran teams onboard Kawasaki Ultra LX JET SKI®. This is a Sea and Land adventure ride.
The Never Quit Challenge is not open for participation to the general public, it is a private charity ride for military personnel only. We do appreciate your support in donating to the cause. You will discover there are many ways for your to contribute financially, and we hope you will partner with us in taking care of our Nation's Veterans and their families.   1. 1. 2014 NEVER QUIT CHALLENGE - BOAT DEDICATION Interior Communications Electrician First Class (SEAL) Thomas Eugene Retzer, United States Navy Loving Husband Beloved Son and Father IC1 (SEAL) Thomas E. Retzer was born March 10, 1973, in Lancaster, California. He attended San Diego State University before enlisting in the United States Navy May 10, 1993. Thomas was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom when he was mortally wounded after his convoy made contact with enemy forces outside Gardez, Afghanistan, June 25, 2003. During his service Thomas was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, both with Combat "V" Devices; Purple Heart Medal; Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Joint Service Achievement Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal; and numerous other campaign medals and awards. “Tis our duty to protect this fine Flag so lets keep on doing this duty.” Billy Waugh - Sending Thomas Retzer Thomas is survived by his wife, Courtney, his sons; Leif and Owen; his father, James; his mother, Leona, his brothers, James, Justin and Michael; his father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Wasley; his sister-in-law, Lindsey Wasley; best friends, Jerry and Teresa Shick; and a host of family, friends and teammates. Tom was a consummate friend, husband and father. Tom had an enduring love for his family, his teammates and his country with a profound dedication to protecting the ideals of the American spirit. We are honored to have a boat dedicated to Tommy. NQC Team Spartan is in honor of KIA, we ride in their memory
