  2. 2. http://www.wordle.net/create<br />Highlight all the text in your story by pressing Command-A (Select All)<br />Copy it by pressing Command-C<br />Click on http://www.wordle.net/create<br />Click in the box that says Paste a bunch of text<br />Press Command-V<br />Click Go<br />Take a screen capture and paste intoyour Wikipage or into Pages<br />Analyse your story for words that you have used too many times<br />Wordle<br />

Screen Capture<br />Press Shift - Command – 4<br />Your mouse will turn into a cross with a circle behind it<br />Click and drag around what you want to capture<br />It will then go to your desktop<br />It will be called Picture 1 (or 2 or 3…)<br />Rename the Picture file by clicking once on the name<br />Then click again<br />(Don’t double click, it will just open the picture)<br />Type your new name in<br />

Borders in Pages<br />Highlight all of your text<br />Click on the Inspector button<br />Click on the T button <br />Click on the More button<br />Click on the Line drop down and select a line<br />Choose the border button<br />Change colour<br />Change border thickness<br />Change the size of the border <br />

Borders and Shapes<br />Click on the Shape button<br />Choose a shape suitable for a border<br />Click on the Inspector button<br />Click on the Wrap Inspector button<br />Click on the ‘In the Background’<br />Click and drag the shape to fill the whole page<br />Change the colour by clicking on the Graphic Inspector <br />
  6. 6. Change colours<br />Change the colour of the shape by clickingon the Graphic Inspector <br />Click on the Colourbox and select a colour<br />Or click on the Colour Fill dropdown and choose a Gradient Fill<br />Select a second colour and adjust the Angles<br />
  7. 7. Change the thickness of the border<br />Under stroke, change colour of border by clicking on the Colourbox select a colour<br />Change the thickness by clicking on the arrows<br />Add a shadow by clicking in the tickbox next to Shadow<br />Change colour or angle<br />Add a Reflection <br />

Make a frame in pages<br />Click on the Shape button<br />Choose a shape suitable for a border<br />Click on the Inspector button<br />Click on the Wrap Inspector button<br />Click on the ‘In the Background’<br />Click on the Line dropdown menu and select Picture Frame<br />Click on the Colourbox drop down arrow andselect a frame<br />

Go to File-Export<br />Click Next <br />Click Export<br />Go to http://www.slideshare.net/<br />Click Login<br />Type in User Name and Password, click Login<br />Click Upload<br />Click Browse and Select Files<br />Find your file, click Upload<br />Click Publish<br />It may take a while, click on My Slidespace<br />When you see it, click on the document<br />

Upload Pages to Slideshare<br />Click on Custom<br />Click once in the box under ‘Without Related Presentations’<br />Press Command-C<br />Go to your Wikispaces page<br />Click on Edit <br />Click on the Embed Widget button<br />Click on Other HTML<br />Press Command-V<br />Click Save<br />Click Save <br />
