  • 1. A long time ago therelived a King called Minos,he had a beautifuldaughter, a big palaceand a pet calledMinotaur. But when the king gotbored he would call hisnavy and they would goand attack theAthenians which is theland across the sea.
  • 2. So the King of Athensgot sick of that, hemade a deal with KingMinos that every nineyears he would sendseven boys and sevengirls to be eaten bythe Minotaur.In the next nine years King Theseus sentseven boys and sevengirls to the Minotaur.Prince Theseus (King Of Athenss son) saidhe would go over to the Minotaur and kill him.
  • 3. So he went, but the beautifulprincess found out and wrote him anote. In the note it said that theprincess will give him some objectsto help him kill the Minotaur and inreturn he will have to take theprincess far away to another land soothers can admire her beauty.Prince Theseus did just that and the Minotaur was dead!
  • 4. But a deal is a deal soTheseus sailed the beautifulprincess away to a farawayisland so others couldadmire her beauty and thetwo countries lived happilyever after! Now Minotaur has been defeated and they alllive happily ever after. BY LUCIA
