great
way
to
direct
students
to
the
 websites
you
want
them
to
use,
is
to
create
 hyperlinked
interactive
pages
in
PowerPoint
 or
Keynote.
   These
can
be
organised
in
Curriculum
and
or
 Group
areas.
 Maths
groups/Reading
groups/Individualised
 activity
pages/Subject
specific

    3. Open
a
new
Keynote
   page
 Hint:
Choose
a
theme
with
a
 coloured
background
 Select
a
‘Master’

page
   with
only
a
‘Title’,


    4. Type
in
the
name
of
your
   group
or
Curriculum
area.
 Go
to
the
Website
you
want
   your
students
to
link
to
 Take
a
screen
capture
of
the
   screen
by
holding
down
 'Shift,
Control,
 Command⌘‐4’

 (your
mouse
pointer
will
turn
 into
a
cross)
 Click
and
drag
around
the
   part
of
the
website
you
want
 to
use
as
a
hyperlink.


    5. Go
back
to
Keynote
   Press
Command⌘-
V
to
   paste
onto
your
Keynote
 page
 Resize
the
picture
by
   clicking
and
dragging
on
 a
corner
 Go
back
to
the
website,
   copy
the
internet
 address
by
pressing
 Command⌘-
C

    6.   Go
back
to
your

 Keynote
   Click
on
the
Picture
 so
it
is
selected
   Click
on
the
 Inspector
button
   Click
on
the
 Hyperlink
Inspector
 button

    7. Click
on
Enable
as
a
   hyperlink

 Click
on
the
drop
down
   menu
and
select
Webpage
 Delete
the
website
that
is
   showing
in
the
box,
 by
clicking
in
the

 URL
box
and
pressing
 Delete
 Press
Command⌘-
V
to
   paste
in
the
Website
 address

    8. The
screen
capture
will
   now
be
hyperlinked
 Repeat
with
more
   website
links
 Save
this
Keynote
twice!
 Save
as
a
Keynote
file
so
that
you
can
add
to
it
later
(Go
to
File
–
 Save,
name
the
file
and
save
it
in
a
folder)
 Save
as
a
‘Show’
so
that
when
children
click
on
the
file
it
will
open
in
 full
Interactive
Slideshow
view
(Go
to
File
–
Export).
Playback
Uses
 should
be
Manual
Advance
and
click
on
Enter
full
screen
mode
 when
opened,
click
Next
(choose
where
to
save
it,
in

a
folder
on
the
 Desktop),
click
Export
