  • 2. Janet is a five year old adopted child. She is Mexican American and African American. She has a seven year old sister. She also have a two year old brother. She lives with both her mother and her father.
  • 3. Janet is adopted. Her two year old brother Ethan is also adopted. Her seven year old sister April is the biological child of their parents. She was adopted by the family when she was a newborn baby. She feels loved and very much a part of the family.
  • 4. Janet is Mexican American and African American. April is white and so are both of the parents. Ethan is Asian American. They are a very diverse family.
  • 5. Janet is dropped of at school everyday by her extremely diverse family. The other children at school always point at her and giggle when she walks in.
  • 6. Janet doesn’t have any friends at school. She is very sad about this because she really wants friends. She doesn’t understand why her classmates and peers won’t except her. She feels perfectly fine at home but school is the worst for her.
  • 7. Janet’s teacher incorporates diversity all over her classroom. She has pictures with different family structures. She has pictures of biracial families. She also have many diverse books.
  • 8. Janet and her siblings get along very well. It’s like they are all biological siblings. The parents treat them all the same and Janet feels very loved.
  • 9. Overall Janet will have a good life. She has a strong grounded family that loves her very much. Her teacher is teaching the class about diversity and she is making Janet feel comfortable. In no time Janet should be making friends.
