    1. Why Firefox? http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
      • Integrated Google Search: Type the query in search bar or select a word and right click to search.
      • Fast:
      • Tabbed Browsing: Save a set of frequently visited sites and open all of them when you start your browser!
      • Block Popup: No need of installing IE 6.0 + Google toolbar to stop annoying pop ups.
      • Print: You can now set header, footer, page orientation (Landscape/ portrait), shrink to fit page width option, check print preview and more.
      • Find as you type.
      • RSS Reader: Supports In-built RSS/atom reader so you don't need one more software.

      • Indic Input Extension: Type in any Indian Language
      • Girgit: Transliterate from one Indian script to another for e.g. Hindi to Gujarati
      • Clustybar: To find dictionary meaning and encyclopedia entry for a word simply hitting the right click!
      • http://clickspeak.clcworld.net/ CLiCk, Speak provides point-and-click screen reading, which can be helpful for partially-sighted users or sighted users who have written language difficulties (such as dyslexia).
      • SQLite Manager : to learn SQL
      • QuickNote: A note taking extension with advanced features.
      • Nuke Anything enhanced : Adds a "Remove this object" entry to the right-click context menu.
      • ChatZilla: lets you connect to IRC server.
      • FireFTP: Client for firefox
      • Web Developer toolbar: for web masters
      • Scribe : Open and save form entries as files.
    4. Tips
      • When firefox encounters a popup, it places an icon in the status bar. If you want to see what's in the popup that was blocked, double click the icon and choose "Unblock Site"
      • Display Text: Goto Tools – Options – Content You can set the minimum font size a web page can have. From “Fonts and Colors” – Advanced… - Minimum font size option. You can also deselect the “Load images automatically” so that images will not be loaded and the page will load faster and you save bandwidth.
      • If you want the standard font and text in full width then choose View – Page Style – No Style
      • To bookmark all tabs in one click, choose Bookmarks – Bookmark all tabs…
    5. Search Bar You can create your own plug-in that can be used in the Search bar instead of Google. Save the following code with an extension .src (for e.g. quick.src) in the following directory.     6. Search from Address bar
      • You can directly type the search word in the address bar after typing the keyword. For e.g. maps delhi in this case should display maps of delhi.
      • Visit your favorite site, for e.g.
      • http:// mapsofindia.com
      • Right click in the search bar and choose “Add a keyword for this search...”
      • Type the keyword in the following dialog box
