NUTRA BRAN Rice Bran was found to be one of the major source of Nutrition like fats, fibers, vitamins, minerals and many important micronutrients such as oryzonal and tocopherols required for consumption on daily basis. All these vital nutrients are mainly required by the brain which controls most of the activities within the body. Though the percentage of usage of edible oil is very negligible, the quality of edible oil matters the most in digestibility, absorption and transportation of certain vital nutrients to the body, so considering this, the company decided to create awareness and educate the people to make use of the Rice Bran edible oil, to compensate the nutritional loss. The company is working on the stabilization of rice bran and in the process of developing many more value added products soon to be launched in the market.

Why Rice Bran Oil in cooking ? For grilling, you need an oil that can take the heat. Specifically, you want an oil with a high smoke point, the point at which oil starts to smoke. Smoking Oil imparts a negative flavor to the foods. Rice bran oil's smoke point is 490 degrees F , higher than even grapeseed oil (480 degrees) or peanut oil (320 - 450 degrees). This means that even in the hottest of situations, rice bran oil won't smoke or breakdown. Your foods will taste better, and they will be less likely to stick to the grill or griddle. Pure rice bran oil is a rich source of Vitamin E , an anti-oxidant. Rice bran oil is also a rich in the neutraceutical gamma-oryzanol. Rice Bran Oil has NO cholesterol and NO trans fatty acids . It is naturally LOW in saturated fat . Rice Bran Oil is also RICH in oleic and linoleic fatty acids . Rice Bran Oil is naturally FREE of trans fatty acids (TFA's)
Rice Bran Oil v/s Others The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends the average intake of fat should be 30% of your total caloric intake. This fat intake should consist of balanced fat, which provides nutrients that are essential to sustain life. Benefits of RICE BRAN OIL to Individuals Growth / Muscle Development : Some believe that specific components of gamma-oryzanol promote the development of lean muscle mass, and a crystallized form has been sold to body-builders for that purpose. By analogy, then, it would seem to potentially offer a method of accelerating weight gain and increasing lean to fat ratios. Cardiovascular Health : Minor constituents in rice bran oil, particularly gamma-oryzanol, tocotrienols, and tocopherols, have been shown in numerous laboratory animal and human studies to provide benefits to the cardiovascular system. Investigators have noted that these constituents are not only effective in reducing harmful LDL serum cholesterol, but they also appear to play a role in reducing plaque build-up on artery walls. Inclusion of these constituents in high-end pet diets should be considered.
Physical Performance / Stamina : Improvements in physical endurance and stamina among athletes have been attributed to the consumption of concentrated forms of gamma-oryzanol. UV Light Absorption / Inhibition : Gamma-oryzanol is effective in absorbing ultraviolet light, thereby inhibiting a number of adverse effects attributed to exposure to sunlight. A number of sunscreen formulations incorporating oryzanol have been developed and marketed. Anti-Cancer Activity : A number of minor components in rice bran oil have been found, through controlled studies with lab animals, to exhibit anti-cancer activity. Fatty Acid Source : The fatty acid composition of rice bran oil is well documented. Rice bran oil is roughly equal to other vegetable oils in supplying fatty acid requirements. Rice bran oil has much to offer in caring for nutritional and health needs of pets and other animals too.
The typical composition of crude rice bran oil is 81.3-84.3% triglycerides, 2-3% diglycerides, 5-6% monoglycerides, 2-3% free fatty acids, 0.3% waxes, 0.8% glycolipids, 1.6% phospholipids, 4% unsaponifiables. In comparison to vegetable oils, Rice bran oil tends to contain higher levels of non-triglyceride components, which are removed during further refining processes. The free fatty acids, monoglycerides and diglycerides in rice bran oil are associated with enzymatic hydrolysis. The phospholispids predominantly include phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanaolamine, and phosphatidylinositol. The wax content of rice bran oil is variable, depending upon cultivar and processing parameters. Various sterols constitute the principal portion of the unsaponifiable fraction of nutraceutical interest. CONTENTS OF RICE BRAN OIL ?
