Stefan Sagmeister• Austrian-born New York-based graphic designer & typographer• Studied graphic design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Pratt Institute in New York• Began his design career at 15• Runs his own design firm: Sagmeister, Inc.• Designed album covers for Lou Reed, OK Go, The Rolling Stones, David Byrne, Aerosmith & Path Metheny• Has also designed for HBO, the Guggenheim Museum and Time Warner• Declined an offer to design Barack Obama’s presidential campaign poster because he was on a sabbatical• Teaches in the graduate department of the School of Visual Arts in New York• Received Grammy Awards in 2005 & 2010 for his work on the album packaging of Talking Heads, David Byrne & Brian Eno
