  • 3. Jackies early life Jackie as a boy played basketball, football, track, and baseball. He had a sister and three brothers and was the half back for the UCLA football team

Jackies Adult Life and Career Jackie was an officer and lutenet during world war 2.Then he went and played for the Negro Leagues played for the Kanas City Monarchs and played with SatchelPaige. Then after he played with the Monarchs he sighed a contract to play with white men the montreal Roylasand the man who sighed him said “I need someone who wont fight back”. In 1946 he maried Rachel Isum. On April 15 1947 Jackie was the first black to play in the majors to play on the Brooklen Dogers. In 1947 he won rookie of the year in 49 he won the mvp award in 55 he went

  • 7. AccomplishmentsJackies accomplishment was to be the first African American to play in Major League baseball and first African American to be in the hall of fame. Today day number 42
