Risk assessment

 1. 1. Risk assessment
SituationPossible riskPreventative measure Working with candlesFire hazardKeeping all flammable materials out of the way of the candles and extinguishing flames when not necessary.Crossing the road in one sceneCar or automobile accident Keep our wits about us when working near a road and insuring we look before crossing at all timesUsing scissors in preparation of props Accidently cutting yourself or othersBe extra vigilant when using scissors and hold them safely by the blade when walking around with them for your safety and the safety of others
Having considered all of these risks we feel like we will be able to shoot the opening minutes of our film safely having considered the ways in which we can minimize the risk of danger to a minimum. Because a lot of the filming takes place in a church building there aren’t that many risks to be considered as it is a relatively safe environment anyway. But that doesn’t mean that we should not worry about the health and safety of the actors and crew.
