    2. Features of an under managed country
      • Huge Corruption
      • A 2005 study done by Transparency International (TI) India found that more than 50% had firsthand experience of paying bribe or peddling influence to get a job done in a public office.
      • Corruption perception Index ranks India as most corrupt nation amongst top 10 GDP’s.
    3. Features of an Under Managed Nation
      • Huge Poverty
      • India is the home of most number of poor people in the world.(350 million)
      • That is 50 million more than the population of USA.
      • 80% of our population earns less than $2 a day.
    4. Reasons behind Under Management
      • Ineffective Democracy
      • Taking decision and implementing it, takes lot of time in a democracy. AND a multi-party system(India) adds insult to the injury.
    5. Reasons
      • Cultural Diversity
      • Though cultural diversity is a dividend for tourism industry, but it becomes very hard to manage the country.
    6. Reasons
      • Troubled neighbourhood
      • India is surrounded by troubled and instable countries( Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Tibet, Bangladesh)
    7. Reasons
      • Huge population
      • Second most populous country
      • Our population is 3.5 times that of USA but we are only 14 th the size of them.
    8. Reasons
      • Lethargic Bureaucracy
      • Our bureaucracy is slow, corrupt and inaccessible for a common man. You can hardly get a work done in a public office without paying bribe.
      • THANK YOU
