  • 2. WHAT IS MOTIVATION ? The process that gives behaviour ,purpose and direction An inner state(Either a need or desire) that energizes and directs us and keep us moving towards the goal Motivation can be considered the state of having encouragement to do something.
  • 3. TYPES OF MOTIVATION Extrinsic Motivation. Extrinsic motivations are those that arise from outside of the individual and often involve rewards such as trophies, money, social recognition or praise Intrinsic Motivation Intrinsic motivations are those that arise from within the individual, such as doing a complicated cross-word puzzle purely for the personal gratification of solving a problem

  • 5. SELF MOTIVATION Do it now Break up the task into small steps Don’t wait for mood or inspiration Start Action Solutions will follow if you try
  • 6. STEPS FOR SELF MOTIVATION Take inspiration from others Think positive Reward yourself Seek support Do something different
  • 7. GOALS Goals are desired result, purpose or objective that one strive to attain. Goals should be smart Specific Measureable Attainable Realistic Time bound
  • 8. Don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps
  • 9. HOW TO MOTIVATE OTHERS ? Simple recognition Promote two-way communication Happy environment and develop them Link Employee results and rewards
  • 10. Know who you are and that you are good enough to change

  • 13. A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new
  • 14. Don’t look back
  • 15. No one ever won a race looking sideways

  • 17. CONCLUSION Motivation is a kind of challenge and commitment which a person done with itself to meet its objectives and goals I believe a person is always in a learning stage and he learns well if he is motivated.
