  2. 2. Bauer media is a publisher who caters for a vast range of audiences, through their media brands. Theyhave many platforms in which they engage with their audiences, these are through the use of;magazines, TV, radio, online and mobile platforms.• Womens, Mens entertainment, Mens lifestyle, Equine, Gardening, Transport, Football, Golf, Pets, angling, motorcycling, motoring, outdoor, photography, lifestyle, local radio, music magazines, national broadcast, ticketing.All of these sub categories target a huge range of people and ages. The mens lifestyle will obviously beaimed at men who care about their health etc. and the womens will obviously be targeted at women. Theuse of different media conventions are what bauer media will differentiate within these categories to suittheir audience. Similarly I will do the same to aim and attract my target audience (male/females aged 16-24)

  6. 6. I think bauer media would be a suitable publisher for my magazine as theyhave proven to be one of the leading publishers in the sector. They producea wide range of media that targets both genders and different agecategories, and as my target audience is both males and females aged 16-24I feel bauer media can successfully publish my magazine and make it popularlike other magazines they publish such as ‘Q’ and ‘KERRANG’.As Bauer media already contain a wide range of influential brands that theyrepresent, this gives them an advantage as they can easily advertise mymagazine and help it grow as they already have proven record in publishingthe best and leading magazines in the UK.‘Q’ magazine is a magazine which I analyzed and have felt hugely inspiredby, therefore having my music magazine published by the same publisher;bauer media, Would hugely benefit the popularity of my magazine.
