First manufacturing, then chemicals and then electronics. b)Tax Benefits: Lower capital tax gains c) Skilled employees and high standard of living </li></ul><ul><li>Better labour rules and higher productivity </li></ul><ul><li>Free Trade: Identified the business through ports as its cash-cow </li></ul><ul><li>Regulated monetary, banking and financial aspects through MAS( Monetary Authority of Singapore) </li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining high rate of savings for the benefit of its people and to finance its investments </li></ul><ul><li>Promoting entrepreneurship through funding, loss sharing, tax gains and etc-Start-up Friendly </li></ul><ul><li>Next Big Thing: i)Biopolis :18-acre complex to foster growth in the area of BioMedical Sciences. ii) Strengthen higher education by inviting colleges and offering scholarships and awards </li></ul>
