  • 2. <ul><li>Discuss the SOCIAL CHOICES to be made for action on global warming. </li></ul><ul><li>Consider some possible actions to reduce carbon emissions. </li></ul><ul><li>Consider that the increase in CO2 in the atmosphere AND global warming is a CORRELATION or a CAUSE. </li></ul><ul><li>Explain why you need to consider the chance of something happening AND the consequences if it does in order to ESTIMATE the RISK associated with a hazard. </li></ul>You will be successful if you can:
  • 3. Climate change could mean HIGHER TEMPERATURES and MORE HOT DAYS over all land areas. Give 4 examples of possible consequences of this change. THINK BIG!!! What could happen to large populations? Climate change could mean more INTENSE RAIN, SNOW and HAIL. Give 4 examples of possible consequences of this. THINK BIG AGAIN!!!.
