Homework Policy <ul><li>Homework is an important part of what we do in school each day, providing reinforcement of concepts and feedback for the teacher. </li></ul><ul><li>Homework is expected to be completed and turned in on time. </li></ul><ul><li>If homework is not completed and turned in on time: </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Consequences : </li></ul><ul><li>Student receives a “Homework Alert” and misses recess for that day (if given after that day’s recess is over, then the following day’s recess is missed) </li></ul><ul><li>Student fills out name, date, subject, and missed assignment(s) on “Homework Alert” </li></ul><ul><li>Assignment is attached to “Homework Alert” and it is to be taken home and returned the next school day </li></ul><ul><li>Both the assignment and the “Homework Alert” are to be returned the next school day and the “Homework Alert” is to be signed by a parent or guardian </li></ul><ul><li>One detention point is earned for the following: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Homework is not returned </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>“ Homework Alert” is not returned </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>“ Homework Alert” is returned, but not signed OR is signed by an unauthorized person </li></ul></ul>
