30 Emergency Beds 22 for men 8 for women

PET KENNEL, CART & BICYCLE STORGAGE
To effectively serve our guests it is imperative that we have a facility that allows them to bring pets and worldly possessions with them to the shelter for safe-keeping while they are with us.

DAILY MEAL CENTRE
Our meal centre will serve meals seven days per week to at risk populations.
Over 75,000 meals per year will be provided through this program.

SUPPORTIVE
HOUSING
These safe beds for interim housing are based on a Personal Development Plan model of social reintegration.
13 beds for women
12 beds for men
Based around a shared apartment style with private bedrooms.

COUNSELLING SERVICES
In partnership with ACTS Seminary Trinity Western University.
We will be offering masters level counselling for Gateway of Hope guests as well as those living in the community of the Langley’s.

RELEVENT LITERACY
This program is essential for all guests of the Gateway of Hope and will include literacy skills assessments, life skills, parenting skills, nutrition, community involvement, personal health care, volunteering, etc.

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
Everyone is invited to join us for Sunday worship service.
Services start at 10:30 am followed by coffee and fellowship.

ECONOMIC ECONOMIC

Chef Training Program
This six month training program will have more than 20 men and women trained each year. Graduates of this program will be able to challenge the first year exam for apprenticeship training to advance themselves in their profession.

COMPUTER SKILLS
This program will train men and women in the basics of computers.
This will allow them to enter into the workforce with the necessary skill set for success.

HOSPITAILITY SERVER PROGRAM
Training program for men and women for immediate employment placement in the food service industry.
Training on modern point-of- sale systems used in the industry is included.

BUILDING SERVICE WORKER TRAINING
This program will provide the necessary skills for men and women to enter the work force as trained custodians.
There is a component of entrepreneurial skill training in this program allowing for personally owned business development.
