2. Lets Get Started
Go to https://getkahoot.com/
Create an account like you would in any other program
Follow the prompts
3. Create Your First Kahoot Quiz
-Click on the quiz button as seen below
4. Type in a question. The question can be standard multiple
choice style with 4 answers or true/false. (Tip: You can add
images to make it more fun by pressing browse)
5. Enter your answers and choose which one is correct.
You may add or subtract the number of answers
6. When you are finished name your quiz and save it.
Then you are ready to launch your Kahoot quiz.
7. Kahoot Time
Have your students go to https://kahoot.it/#/
Then have them create a screen name
Tip: have them use their actual name otherwise this can get out of hand.
This happened to me my first time. YIKES!!!
Make sure your projector is on and screen is down so that everyone can see
the questions and answers
Tip: Turn your volume on to have whimsical background music while students
are playing
8. Data
-After the quiz is over press export results and tool will automatically set up your Excel
report that will look like this. This is great to see what students are learning.
-This is also great to show student growth not only for you but for when you are being
evaluated.
9. We Were All Taught to Share
-Press the share button to share with other members of your department. This way you
don’t have to create a Kahoot for every unit
10. . Teachers that teach the same classes can work together and split up
the work.
-Everything is saved on the program so you can access it from anywhere
