3. The practice of architecture is employed to fulfill both practical and expressive requirements of civilized people and thus embraces both utilitarian and aesthetic ends. Although these two ends may be distinguished, they cannot be separated, and the relative weight given to each can vary widely. Almost every settled society that possesses the techniques for building, produces architecture. Briefly, a rchitecture is concerned with the creation of the physical environment in order to achieve its integration with human life and human usages. ARCHITECTURE: DEFINITON Architecture (from Latin, architectura and ultimately from Greek, "a master builder", from αρχι- "chiefs, leader" , τέκτων "builder, carpenter") is the art, science and technique of designing buildings and structures.

AdaProjecT with its focal point, ADA Studio, enables the designers to share their ideas and in a virtual environment. Ada Studio is structured to constitute certain categories which give the most appropriate possibilities for sharing design ideas. The main subject of this research project is Contemporary Arts and Cultural Center in Nicosia.
