Contest concept - the first contest What People Need will be held in the second half of 2011, whose purpose is a search of current needs of people.
The audience - a participant of the WPN contest can be any person and company Application / D escription of requirements is given on behalf of the physical presence or the organization (competition in the future will have corporate nomination). The need may be recorded in three languages: English , Russian, Ukrainian.
T he main competition jury are the participants themselves and Internet-users. Each registered website user may provide the actual description, in his view, needs and vote for a particular need. In addition any person can take part in discussions on each of the requirements. The Contest Committee also affects the rating requirements.
Structure and calendar - the competition is held in 3 rounds, the contest results are published online in the form of rating needs. Contest Period - 5 months.
Prize fund – contest needs classifier consists of 7 main areas of individual needs. As a result, will be allocated the most urgent need among others. By describing this need, receives $ 1,000 in prize money. As a result, will be distributed three cash prizes: one prize - Ukrainian category, one prize - the Russian category and one prize - English category.
Contract - each participant, in the site www.topneed.org , automatically accepts the terms of the contest and its rules.
