  • 5. PRONOUN: A pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun. Example: Rani went to market. She bought vegetables there.
  • 6. II I PERSON - I, WE II PERSON - YOU, YOU III PERSON - HE, SHE,IT, THEY
  • 7. ADJECTIVE AN ADJECTIVE IS A WORD THAT QUALIFIES A NOUN.
  • 8. EXAMPLE 1. SHE IS FAT. 2. HE IS OLD. 3. THEY ARE PRETTY.
  • 9. VERB A VERB IS A WORD USED TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE SUBJECT i.e action or state of being.
  • 10. EXAMPLE 1. SHE WALKS FAST. 2. THE MAN IS READING THE NEWSPAPER. 3. HE WRITES NEATLY.
  • 11. ADVERB AN ADVERB IS A WORD THAT QUALIFIES A VERB, AN ADJECTIVE OR ANOTHER ADVERB.
  • 12. PREPOSITION A PREPOSITION IS A WORD THAT INDICATES THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A NOUN OR PRONOUN AND OTHER WORDS IN A SENTENCE.
  • 13. EXAMPLE 1. THE BOOK IS UNDER THE CHAIR. 2. HE HAS GONE OUT. 3. GO THROUGH THE PAPER. 4.SHE IS GOING TOWARDS THE TEMPLE.
  • 14. CONJUNCTION A CONJUNCTION IS A WORD USED FOR JOINING WORDS OR SENTENCES.
  • 15. INTERJECTION ● AN INTERJECTION IS A WORD USED TO EXPRESS SUDDEN FEELINGS.
