BREAST FEEDING REWARD

A breastfeeding mother gets one good deed for each drop of milk that is fed to the child

Rasulullah (Pease be up on him) said that the woman who is breast feeding her child, for every drop she is rewarded as if giving life to creation and on the completion of this period, is congratulated by the angels on her shoulders and told that all your previous sins are forgiven and whatever is done thereafter is regarded a new.

For being awake for the child at night, she gets rewarded for freeing seventy slaves in the path of Allah .

Rasulullah(Pease be up on him) has said that women from the time of their pregnancy till childbirth and up to suckling period is in benefit and reward are similar to the person guarding Islam's borders. (Which requires and entails constant vigilancy) and if one passes away during this period, one attains the reward of a shaheed .

The woman who succumbs to death in virginity or in the process of giving birth ,In the state of Nifaas (the bleeding after childbirth) will attain the ranks of a martyr (Shaheed).

Rasulullah ( Pease be up on him ) has said, “ The woman who loses three children, deeming it rewarding and bears her loss with sabr will enter Jannah.” One woman inquired “ What if two children pass away?” Rasullullah ( Pease be up on him ) replied “ she will still attain this reward.” In another narration, one Sahabi inquired regarding the loss of one child to which Rasulullah ( Pease be up on him ) mentioned great merit as well.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Even the miscarried foetus will drag its mother towards Jannat if she exerc is ed patience with the hope of acquiring reward ."

PREGNANCY REWARDS

Every night of an expectant mother is counted as spent in IBAADAT and every day as spent in fasting.

When a woman is pregnant with a child, all the angels will make Istighfar (repentance) on her behalf. Allah SWT will, for each day of her pregnancy, write for her 1000 good deeds and erase from her 1000 bad deeds.

When a pregnant woman starts to feel the pain from contractions, Allah SWT will write in her records as someone who is doing jihad (spiritual or physical struggle) in His path .

· Two raka'at salaat performed by a pregnant woman is better than 80 raka'at salaat performed by a non-pregnant woman .

A woman who gives birth gets the reward of 70 years of salaat (prayer) and fasting. For each vein that feels pain, Allah SWT gives her the reward of one accepted hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah).

If the woman dies within 40 days of giving birth, she will die as a shahid (matyr).

Rasulullah (Pease be up on him) has said: “ O Women! Are you satisfied (meaning you should be satisfied) that whenever one of you is impregnated by your husband who is pleased with you, you receive such reward, as one fasting in the path of Allah or remains awake during the night and when she begins her labour then the inhabitants of the sky and earth pray for the coolness of her eyes, i.e. meaning comfort .”

A woman should therefore gladly bear these difficulties patiently and calmly as she will be highly rewarded. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Marry such women who are loving and produce children (in abundance) because (on the day of Qiyaamah) I will vie with other Ummats and be proud of your numbers."
