    • Share your expertise - As a self-employed business person, or as a skilled employee, you are an expert in your domain
    • Stick to what you know
    • Keep notes - inspiration can strike at any time
  • 8. Scheduling
    • Stay regular - the hardest part of blogging is disciplining yourself to post on a regular basis
    • 1 post a week should be seen as an absolute minimum, but aim for two or three
    • Try to publish at the same time(s) each week
    • Allocate time for your blogging, as part of your working week
    • Keep a couple of blog posts in reserve so that you can maintain your blogging presence when work demands increase
