Creative Week 2013 Volunteer Production & Promotion Team Event Relations: ‣ Mission: Recruit events to be part of Creative Week and take great care of them all along the way. ‣ Goals: ‣ 25+ events registered with Creative Week ‣ 1+ event in each of the seven counties ‣ 90%+ of participating events report great value and a terrific experience ‣ Team members so far: ‣ Vanessa Solesbee, The Solesbee Group Media & Promotion: ‣ Mission: Promote Creative Week as far and wide as possible through development and execution of media partnerships. ‣ Goals: ‣ 100,000 impressions/touches through promotion throughout the region ‣ National media mention of the Week ‣ Viral sharing of Creative Week photos/blogs/video ‣ 5000 attendees over the course of the Week ‣ 90%+ of media partners report great value and a terrific experience ‣ Team Members so far: ‣ Jamie Kelly, Cornell College ‣ Kelli Andersen, City of Iowa City ‣ Quinn Pettifer ‣ Eric Hanson, ICAD The Creative Corridor Project: Connecting, supporting and inspiring all who create in Iowa’s Creative Corridor. Sponsors & Special Partnerships: ‣ Mission: Expand the budget and production possibilities for Creative Week by developing partnerships with creative companies and organizations in the region not yet engaged in the Creative Corridor and take great care of them throughout the lead-up, Week of and follow-through of the festival. ‣ Goals: ‣ Raise $50,000 for production and promotion expenses. ‣ Build in-kind partnerships for specific aspects of the Week ‣ 90%+ of sponsors and partners report great value and a terrific experience being part of Creative Week ‣ Team Members so far: ‣ David Tominsky, CoreTCS ‣ Paulette Milewski, Kirkwood Community College Volunteer Team: ‣ Mission: Recruit and onboard volunteers to be part of Creative Week and take great care of them all along the way. ‣ Goals: ‣ 90%+ of volunteers report great value and a terrific experience being part of Creative Week ‣ Cross-corridor connections made and a sense of place further established ‣ Team Members so far: ‣ Ashley Zierath, UI JPEC ‣ Amber O’Connor, Options of Linn County The Creative Corridor Project: Connecting, supporting and inspiring all who create in Iowa’s Creative Corridor.
