    4. 4 6 REASONS WHY IFRAMES ROCK Old System IFramesKlugy! Likely much easier interface. Just enter a URL for the iframe!Can’t track squat! Can have javascript autorun in the iframe page.Have to style a whole separate page No more! iFrame pages can run both styles and dynamic content from the home site.Insecure No more! iFrames maintain the security level of the host site (not FB), although lock will not appear closed.Can’t integrate marketing automation Now you can! Use Marketo, Eloqua andforms the like. Customize the user experience!Recreate the wheel Use existing landing pages!
    5. IFRAMES ARE EASY TO SET UP!1. Search for the “developer” app.2. If you haven’t installed it, do so for your page.3. Click “Create New App”.4. Enter an app name and an app namespace.5. Select “App on Facebook”.6. Provide a canvas URL and a secure canvas URL. (the iframe URL)7. Save!
    6. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS• Max width: 520px• Scrolling vertically• Include analytics tracking – Set up custom analytics – Add custom analytics tagging to iframe URL (http://www.google.com/support/analytics/ bin/answer.py?answer=55578)

MY BEST PRACTICES• For the iframe URL, be sure to include: – Google Analytics parameters – A way to identify request is from Facebook – Example: https://www.search-mojo.com/lp/ webinar2.php?utm_source=Facebook& utm_campaign=webinar• Use the utm_source to tell the page to use a Facebook specific CSS• Test landing pages with GWO too!
