This ’Gaming Program Pack’ is the product of research done by R. Sean Lamborne, Briana Hovendick, and Jamie Archuleta for the Library Research Service and the Colorado State Library. The research was used to develop an innovative and interactive booth for the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Conference in November, 2008. The research helped to link gaming with literacy, draw attention to new techniques to attract students to libraries, and highlight technologies and programs used in libraries throughout Colorado and America.
