    • WebCT/Blackboard Collin College
    • 1. Go to www.collin.edu 2. Select CougarWeb circled in red on the top right side of the screen 3. If you do not know your password or screen name at Collin College, select “Contact Us” at the bottom of the screen circled in green or call (972) 377.1777 or 972.548.6790 to obtain that information
    • 1. Enter your Username and password for Collin College and login 2. If you are still having trouble, select “Student Password Reset” at the bottom of the screen
    • • Once you have successfully entered CougarWeb, selected the courses tab and select our English section, which should be the only one displayed; this selection should take you directly into Blackboard • If you need help finding our course section on CougarWeb, email webservices@collin.edu or call (972) 377.1777
    • 1. When you arrive in Blackboard, you should see a screen similar to the one above 2. You are only going to be interested in the two circled options in our Blackboard section
    • Blackboard Options Tools • “Tools” is where you will find your grades on major assignments. If you select the tools tab, a number of options and icons will appear on the center of the screen. Select in order to view your grades on each essay assignment. Content • “Content” is where you will find our online readings and assignment submission option or “dropbox.” When you click on content, the options will appear on the center of the screen
    • Submitting to Dropbox • Select the assignment you would like to submit to the dropbox. In this case, you are selecting “Brief Bio,” but in the future it will be “Essay #1,” “Essay #2,” and so on. • Notice you can also select readings to view on this page as well • When you select “View/Complete,” Turnitin will have you say “yes” to a user agreement
    • To start the submission, select submit highlighted in blue below
    • 1. Make sure your name and title of paper have been entered 2. Attach the document you wish to submit (there must be at least 20 words to submit) 3. Click “Upload” when you are done 4. The next screen will ask you to review what you have submitted. Select “submit” when you are ready 5. Once you have done this, the paper will be sent directly to my account for grading
