    2. Step 2: Click Next Step 3: Name VM and select OS (OpenSolaris)
    3. Step 3: Select Memory 1028 for machines with 3+ GB otherwise 512 Step 4: Create new virtual hard disk
    4. Step 5: Select disk type Step 6: Name and size virtual disk (20 GB recommended)
    5. Step 7: Ensure newly created disk is selected as boot hard disk and click next
    6. Step 8: Double click CD/DVD rom to mount OpenSolaris iso image
    7. Step 9: Select mount and iso image file clicking folder icon navigae to OpenSolaris iso image location then click OK
    8. Step 10: Start VM
    9. Step 11: Install OpenSolaris
    10. Step 12: Configure partitions
    11. Step 13: Configure date & time
    12. Step 14: Configure language
    13. Step 15: Configure computer name password & users
    14. Step 16: install starts
    15. Step 17: DO NOT click reboot. Minimize window to eject install CD first
    16. Step 18: After minimizing install window right click on CD icon on desktop and select eject then maximize installer window and click reboot. Also remove the cd mount from the VirtualBox main menu
    17. Step 19: From the VirtualBox menu select Install Guest Additions from Devices menu
    18. Step 20: move VboxSolarisAdditions.pkg to a local directory
    19. Step 20: From the Solaris Applications menu open a terminal session and su – root. Change directory to where is located and execute pkgadd- d ./VboxSolarisAdditions.pkg then close terminal session, eject the VboxAdditions cd and reboot virtual machine
    20. Step 21: mount Cd or DVD with JDK install and copy into install directory. For more information click http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/install/jdk/install-solaris.html
    21. Step 22: mount Cd or DVD with Netbeans install and copy into install directory. For more information click http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/61/nb-mysql-bundle-install.html
    22. Step 23: Doubleclick on the netbeans sh file and select Run in Terminal to start install process
    23. Step 24: Selecty Glassfish and MySQL install options and click next
    24. Step 25: Select install directory and ensure JDK path is defined correctly then click next
    25. Step 26: select glassfish install directory, jdk path admin username & password and ports then click next
    26. Step 27: Select the mysql install directory and modify root password then click next
    27. Step 28: Confirm install information and click install
    28. Your Done!!
