  2. Departments<br />Since there are two halves, there are 2 departments<br /> There are two departments and many cities.<br />
  3. Capital of Corsica = Ajaccio<br />Ajaccio is on the southwestern coast of Corsica. Corsica is a nice getaway, if your willing to spend all your money to get their. <br />
  4. Map of Corsica’s Geography<br />Corsica is very mountainous everywhere but its east coast.<br />
  5. World Heritage Site (Gulf of Girolata) <br />This reserve has a habitat of rare osprey, Peregrine Falcons, and bearded vultures. This reserve is located on the west coast of Corsica. This coast consists of red mountains, coves, and sandy beaches. <br />
  6. Most Beautiful Village<br />Piana is located on the west coast and close to Ajaccio. It is very old…… <br />
  7. Corsica- and its foods<br />Corsica of course eats a lot of fish. They eat cheese like the rest of France, and they have a selection of savory traditional meats. <br />
  8. World Heritage Site (Gulf of Porto: Calanche of Piana, gulf of Girolata, Scandola Reserve)<br />This range has lots of vegetation, beautiful caves with marine life. <br />
  9. Corsica Flag<br />This is Corsica’s flag, it is very unique. When will you ever get to see a flag like this one?<br />
  10. Corsica’s artwork<br />Most of Corsica’s art is very colorful. It usually consist of landscapes.<br />
  11. Festivals<br />In Cali they have a Jazz Festival every year.<br />
