    3. Imagine… Imagine a place where ideas and opportunities come together to grow and prosper Imagine a community where people share ideas with experts and peers to create companies and people Imagine a community where connections form easily and collaboration occurs between all NY Tech groups This is the New York Tech community… now and in the future
    4. NY New Tech Meetup 2004 NY Tech Meetup 2008 First event: 4 attended Last event: 400+ Members: <10 Members: 7500+
    5. Incredibly great things about the NYTM: Well produced – Scott / Dawn as Producers, volunteers Demo presentations – short, sweet, to the point Panels and unconference events presented Great space, people and sponsors Cash flow neutral (covers cost of space and staff) So what’s missing? Great question.
    6. To promote NY Tech Leverage other NYTech groups for spots on NYTM stage Open stage for community announcements Sponsorship of networking events before and/or after Bus service for access to IAC To educate ourselves on Tech Speakers, panels and/or unconference community events Open stage for community announcements (Gary?) To collaborate and grow NY Tech Membership search (e.g. LinkedIn) for NYTM events Peer training/collaboration for knowledge sharing http://www.nytechvision.com
    7. Board of Advisors
    8. To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better place than when we found it, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know everyone's life breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded.
