At a brew and mini-pitch night organized by Dave Arthur and Richard Hoath, several people presented ideas and projects, including developing a graphical calculation app, ideas around the local economy, building a tech vertical, web-based micro pitches, and developing an open device lab on the Sunshine Coast. Upcoming events for the local tech group include a SIGdev meetup in December and a hack day in January to contribute to a website, featuring hands-on mobile app coding on an open source platform.
