Sometimes it feels like we’re running around with our heads cut off… too many new web 2.0 applications! -A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Setting up a blog is a whole lot easier than getting a seed to germinate and grow into a healthy plant… However, much like a seedling, a blog needs regular attention to make it successful. Two popular blogging web sites are Blogger and Wordpress. www.blogger.com www.wordpress.com
